My Services

I will be performing the eulogy for your loved one. This can be any service designed to honor the decedent and best serve the family.

Fees for my services are comparable to other professional services in the area, usually around $295 depending on various aspects of the service. This will be known ahead of time and no added fees will be assessed. Consultations are free.

Meeting with the family…

…is the first step. This can be accomplished via phone or in person. I also ask if there are life long friends, co workers, or other’s whose perspective would lend clarity or description. I speak with or meet with all who are helpful in making the service as personal and memorable as possible. (Hours involved here vary greatly)

Writing the Eulogy.

After gaining a perspective on the families needs, and preferences, I begin to write the eulogy. Often songs are added at the beginning, end, and in the middle of the service as chosen by the family. Other readings, quotes, rituals, video tributes, or memory take aways can also be added. This is where my work really begins, usually 12 plus hours. (Because meeting with you is an honor., I don’t consider this “work”.)

Day of Service

I will arrive an hour early to meet with the funeral director to go over the order of the tribute. Making sure all is in place and prepared. I will also meet with the family to ensure all is well and if there are any last minute changes or needs to be addressed. Again, meeting with the family is always an honor. (My time is approximately 3 hours or longer)
